Jill and I left after Thanksgiving for a week of valet diving at Belmar Apartments in Bonaire. We arrived to find out that Bonaire had been getting a bunch of rain for several months. The streets were in sad shape and man eating pot holes were everywhere. Upon checking in our dive plans had a few changes.
We skipped diving on Sunday and went grocery shopping and had lunch in town. The diving started on Monday and was good as usual. The water temp was around 82 degrees and the rain came mostly during the night.
Our condo was great, located near the pool and downstairs. We did two dives every morning and then spent the afternoon shopping, having lunch, and grabbing a gelato at Gio’s.
The week flew by and we spent our last night at a hotel before flying home.
