Life isn’t about waiting for the storm to pass, it’s about learning how to dance in the rain.

20th Anniversary of LGD

Do you like this post?

Cecilia and I were off to Anse Chastenet on St Lucia for a week of diving. We were surprised to find that we were staying in The Big Beach House. A shuttle service was available by calling on the phone we were furnished.

Diving with Scuba St Lucia we were glad to see Errol and Felix were on our boat for the week.  Diving was good and we saw lots of critters.  Rains usually hit at night and it was mostly sunny during the day.

Beach palapa #34 became our beach hangout spot for the week.  Due to an island shortage of mint, Mojitos were in short supply.

During the week a group of us rented a catamaran for a sunset cruise with booze and food.  My dive buddy talked me into a massage at the spa to relieve the knots(stress) in my neck.

The final night we had a cocktail party and dinner.

The next morning the real fun began as all airlines had a computer glitch issues cancelling thousands of flights.  I was on AA and got off the island, only to land in Miami with several flight delays. The airport was a zoo and was glad to board my flight to Houston.  After  a long day of hectic travel and a drive home we pulled into the house at 4 am. Being up almost 24 hours mostly in airplanes and airports I was exhausted.
